We are body of your peers–classified and nonstudent wage employees–at George Mason University.  In addition to our paid positions on campus, we volunteer our time on the Staff Senate.  Our purpose is threefold: First, as an advisory body, we hear concerns of staff and work toward finding the appropriate avenue to address those concerns.  Second, the Staff Senate strives to appreciate our constituents through appreciation events and recognition programs.  Third, we educate staff on matters that have an impact on their work-life.  Paramount to all our work is engaging with our constituents: we are the collective voice of Mason staff but we need to hear from individual staff members in order to succeed at our mission.
