Happy Summer! In my office (Orientation, Family Programs and Services), summer is the busiest time of year, welcoming 10,000 new students and their families to campus. In all my interactions, I am reminded of all the amazing staff that support these students both in their transition and while they are students at Mason.
Before my days as Staff Senate Chair come to an end, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to staff throughout the university. Thank you for making Mason an incredible place to call home for more than 7,000 residential students. Thank you for making connections with and supporting over 23,000 off-campus students who are proud to be Patriots. Thank you for making it an honor to serve as your advocate on campus and in Richmond. I am proud to have served you over the last two years as Chair.
