Safe Zone Training Series: Spring Dates

The primary mission of George Mason’s Safe Zone Program, like the LGBTQ Resources Office, is to create a safer, more welcoming and inclusive campus environment, to strengthen community, and to encourage networking among faculty, staff, and students toward the goal of supporting the well-being of LGBTQ people.

Safe Zone training includes three modules that focus on awareness of LGBTQ issues/intersectionality, gender identity/expression and the obstacles trans and nonbinary individuals face, and ally/skills building. The training is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Register online to attend Safe Zone training and acquire a Safe Zone button/card. The January 12 training is already full, but many other dates are available.
