Holiday Food and Toy Drive

The Staff Senate is collecting new, unwrapped toys for INOVA Children’s Hospital.  Donations will be collected from December 1−19, 2017. The Staff Senate is also accepting donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and school supplies to benefit the Patriot Pantry.  The last day to donate toys and food will be the day of each campus’ holiday party.  Until the day of the holiday parties, please use the drop-off locations specified for each campus.


Deadline for Collection:

Arlington:  Monday, December 11, Founder’s Hall Multipurpose Room

Science and Technology:  Tuesday, December 12,  Beacon Hall 1017, 1018, and Lobby

Fairfax:  Tuesday, December 19, Johnson Center Cinema


Drop Off Location(s):

Arlington:  Near Information Desk in Founder’s Hall

Science and Technology:  Lobby of Colgan Hall and Lobby of Bull Run Hall

Fairfax:  Merten Hall Information Desk and Johnson Center West Hallway Elevators* (Entrance/Exit toward the HUB on the main floor)

*Collection in the Johnson Center location will begin on December 6, 2017

INOVA Children’s Hospital has set up an Amazon Wish List, a Wish List for currently needed items, and Gift Policies to avoid any items that they cannot accept.  Patriot Pantry also has a List of Items that are most requested.  If you are interested in supporting the Patriot Pantry with a financial contribution, you can donate to the Student Food and Housing Insecurity Fund by visiting
