Summer 2016 Staff Appreciation Events

Join the Staff Senate at the summer Staff Appreciation Events! Take a break from work to enjoy light refreshments and network with your colleagues. Activities include an information fair, raffle, and voting in the Staff Senate Election.

Election season is here! Voting in the Staff Senate election will start on July 11 and end at 5 p.m. on July 22.

Summer Flex

Mason's senior leadership is providing additional holiday leave for salaried faculty and staff this summer. Called Mason Flexible July, it includes:

• Four hours of additional holiday leave when Mason closes administrative offices at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1

• Four hours of additional Special Flex Holiday leave that can be used, with supervisor permission, during July or August of 2016

•

• A special promotion of flexible work schedules for the month of July to encourage the use of flexible scheduling (such as working four 9-hour days and one 4-hour day)

Free Summer Yoga and Pilates/Barre for Mason Faculty and Staff

The Center for the Advancement of Well-Being (CWB) is thrilled to extend its free Weekly Well-Being Practices through the summer term. Yoga for Well-Being meets each Monday and Thursday; Pilates/Barre Fusion (co-sponsored by Mason Recreation) meets each Tuesday.

All sessions run from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in SUB I, Room 1508 through July 28 (note the new location for summer) …
