Jonathan Aponte, Program Assistant/Office Manager in the Cultural Studies Program, and Wayne Adams, Academic Advisor in the School of Art, were selected as the 2015 recipients of the Global Professional Staff Exchange Program (GPSE). From a strong group of applicants, these two were chosen to expand their world view, professional development, and global higher education knowledge by working abroad for a week. Jonathan will travel to Madrid, Spain this fall. Wayne will visit Mason Korea next spring.
In September, Mason’s Office of Global Strategy and other administrative offices on the Fairfax Campus will host Yukiko Okazaki from Toledo, Spain.
Read more about the program on Mason’s Office of Global Strategy website.
The 2016 GPSE program application period will begin in late spring 2016. Staff Senate and the Office of Global Strategy will share more details as the time nears.
Congratulations to this year’s participants!
