University Libraries Events

To celebrate Love Data Week (February 10-14, 2020), the Digital Scholarship Center (DiSC) will hold workshops to build your skills in data analysis and research data management. Join us to gain hands-on experience and learn about resources that can meet your data needs throughout the research process.

All the sessions will take place in the DiSC lab (Fenwick Library, Room 2701A) starting at 1 p.m., with most having an encore at 5 p.m. Registration is recommended. See more information at dsc.gmu.edu/workshops

Join Tim Aitken, the Inspec/Inspec Analytics presenter for a Lunch and Learn. Inspec Analytics enables research professionals to explore beyond the literature in Inspec to uncover trends and patterns that were previously locked away, across a wide range of physics and engineering disciplines at both local and global levels.

With these insights, you can set the direction for your research outputs and monitor their impact. Inspec Analytics will give scientific researchers the most detailed, granular views into the most recent scientific publications in engineering, physics, and computing. It includes up five levels of subject classification terms so you can really start to analyze publishing output in detail
