Charter Buses on Campus

If you are hosting an event that will bring charter buses to campus, coordinate their visit with Parking Services. Even just one charter bus needs to be accommodated for drop-off, pick-up, and parking.

Charter buses should not pick-up or drop-off at Rappahannock River Lane or the Sandy Creek Transit Center. Both locations are transit hubs, and there is not sufficient space to allow charter bus access.

Parking Services can help you find a location for charter buses on campus. Reach out during your event planning process to confirm details.

Contact [email protected] or 703-993-2065 for more information.

Bicycle Commuting 101

Bicycling to campus can be fun and great for your well-being. Join Rick Holt from Human Resources and Payroll (and League of American Bicyclists certified instructor) for Bicycle Commuting 101.

Bicycle Commuting 101
Friday, April 12, noon to 1 p.m.
Merten Hall, Room 1203

During this session, Rick will share information to help you feel more confident about getting to campus on two wheels. The session will cover basic bicycling information, including: bicycle selection, fit, inspection, gearing, cadence, clothing, accessories, and routes to campus.

Mason Transportation will also share information about bike resources during the session.

Sponsored by Mason Transportation and Human Resources and Payroll, the training is open to faculty, staff, and students. Register online.

Contact [email protected] or 703-993-2828 with questions.
