Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and University Life are pleased to offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training at no cost to members of the Mason community. MHFA is a program designed to provide participants with basic skills to help someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. MHFA helps you to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns. The session covers depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
An upcoming training will be held on March 14 and 15 (1 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days). Register online. Participants must attend both days of training.
