Fenwick Gallery and Music Library Exhibitions

Fenwick Gallery Exhibition

Fenwick Library will feature J Carrier’s Elementary Calculus in the Fenwick Gallery until May 24, 2019. Elementary Calculus, through a series of portraits, landscapes and still life photographs, observes the publicly private moments of migrants and refugees in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as they attempt to connect back to their homes.

Elementary Calculus was published by MACK in September 2012, selected for numerous year-end “best of” lists, and was also included in the 2013 International Center of Photography Triennial. Work from J Carrier’s recent projects, Mi´raj  and In Circles, will also be published by MACK in the coming year.

Music Library Exhibition

Through May 24, the Music Library (Fenwick, Room 2600) is hosting an exhibit of the Music Publishers Association 2018 Paul Revere Award Winners.

The awards were established in 1964 in honor of the 200th anniversary of the first music engraving in America by famous silversmith Paul Revere. Today, the awards still recognize outstanding examples of graphic design, with an emphasis on usability for orchestras, educators, libraries and individuals.
