This month, George Mason University Rector Tom Davis will host four open forums to solicit feedback on what the Board of Visitors should look for in the next president.
The Staff Senate encourages Mason staff to participate in these forums to learn about the search process and share their perspectives.
The dates are as follows:
- Wednesday, July 10, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Research Hall, Room 163, on the Fairfax Campus
- Thursday, July 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in Van Metre Hall, Room 322, on the Arlington Campus
- Monday, July 15, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., in Katherine Johnson Hall, Room 258, on the SciTech Campus
- Thursday, July 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in Merten Hall, Room 1201, on the Fairfax Campus

The board will continue to collect feedback and engage the community through additional meetings with students, alumni, faculty, and staff as they formally launch the search in late summer and early fall.
